Bonus Sketch at The Scrappiest

Liz (at The Scrappiest Sketch Blog) posted a bonus sketch that she created for Transperant Touches...yeah for me...another AWESOME sketch for me to create with. You should know that I couldn't resist. Here is my take on her sketch. Thanks for looking.

July Sketch for The Scrapbook Get-Away

Here is the sketch and my example for the July Challenge #2 at The Scrapbook Get-Away. Create a layout or card and share it in our gallery and be entered to win a RAK from The Scrapbook Get-Away. This layout is of my brother, he has grown up into a wonderful father, husband and friend.

Terrific Thursday and Sketabilities Sketch #16

Hope everyone is having a terrific Thursday.  I am sticking close to home today, gotta naked troll running around my house.  We are trying to potty train Ciera.  She won't keep her diaper on so figured this was as good a time as any to try.  I have a stinkin feeling she isn't going to be as easy as the others.  They never liked getting pee on them so they learned quick, she doesn't seem to care.  She just thinks it is fun to run around without a diaper.

Since I am on potty watch today, decided to scrap a little.  I worked on the newly posted Sketchabilites sketch #16.  This is my 6 yr old at Fiesta Texas a few weeks ago.  They loved the carousel and rode it over and over.  I always think the carousel makes the prettiest pictures.  I used Bo Bunny Peacock Lane papers.  Whew! I have done more purple lo's this week than I have in years.

Sassy Lil' Sketches July 14 Card Sketch

Sassy Lil' Sketches July 14 Card Sketch was posted yesterday.  What a cute little sketch it is too!!! I look the scraps from one of my latest layouts and just jumped right into making this cute little card.  I think it is a great day to day card for showing someone just how special they are.  Head on over to Sassy Li l' Sketches and try one out for yourself.  Some great sponsor prizes this month too!!!

So you think you can....

I rarely scrap "myself" so this is a rare lo of me.  The journaling is about my not being able to trust others, especially when I first got married.  I had been burned and wasn't about to be burned again (you know, that kind of thing!) Anyway it was one obstacle that my dh and I had to work thru.  I think we have done a pretty good job at it.  I used Bo Bunny Peacock Lane to create an 8.5x11 lo for So you Think you can Scrap contest at Tallyscrapper.  Well, since I don't create this size for myself, I converted it to 12x12 when I was finished so that it fits in my albums.  Sketch ideas from Stuck!?sketches.  Thanks for looking.

Let's Capture these Sketches

This is my great grandmother on my mothers side of the family.  This old photo is of her with her second husband.  I loved the sketch over at Let's Capture These Sketches because it only required one small photo and this fit just perfect! Thanks for the inspiration ladies!!!

Bo Bunny and 2Sketches4You...what more could you ask for?

Went on a buying frenzie yesterday and stocked up on Bo Bunny, bought two whole lines since they are about to release the next batch of yummy goodness.  With so many summer photos, I will have no problem zipping thru Petal Pushers and Back to Basics.  Great colors for the season.  I could not resist using this eye candy on the newest sketch at 2Sketches4You.  Tee Hee, had to use a little Texas slang for my sentiment. Hope you like what you see!!

2 Sketches 4 You #56

This week 2 Sketches 4 You is the sponsor for Card of the Week! That's right folks the winner of Card of the Week will be gauranteed a spot on their Design team starting the first week in August. All you need to do is make a card based on today's sketch and upload it to the gallery. There is one catch though - you will only have until Friday midnight to create your card. This is almost as exciting as the World Cup!

THe Scrappiest sketch #73

One reason to love Monday is that is when Liz Chidester reveals her new sketch for the week at The Scrappiest.  I have spent the day scrapping and was so excited when I saw this one.  This photo is of my grandmother taken around 1990.  When all the grandkids were small, we all called her Big Memaw.  It wasn't until later that we started calling her grandma. I am not sure of the date, will have to add that later.  Hope everyone had a great scrappy Monday like I did. See you later.

SKetch #72 at The Scrappiest Blog!!!

Liz never ceases to amaze me with her wonderful sketches at The Scrappiest Sketch Blog.  This layout features pictures of my darling daughter Sage when we sent ice cream to her Kindergarten class for her birthday.  The two girls in the opposite photo are some of her friends from school.  She loves to take treats to share with others.  I am also entering this in the ScrapFit Workout challenge to make your own embellishments.  I just love the ice cream journaling spot that I made out of Bo Bunny pp and an old rub on stick.  Isn't it just the cutest!!!

July 7 Sketch at Sassy Lil Sketches

OMG! I just loved how fast this page came together with the awesome sketch provided by Sassy Lil Sketches.  I just loved the 5x7 photo, but needless to say my moving target was hard to catch with the other two photos.  I was thinking of just tossing them but this sketch provided the perfect opportunity to just crop them and use them.   Check out all the sketches coming up for the month of July,,,,more great stuff to come I am sure of it!
