Retail Therapy

Well, I did some retail therapy today. I went shopping for myself and loaded up on scrappy supplies. Most of this was on sale! Gotta take advantage of a good sale, right? I also got the Page Maps book by Becky Fleck, gotta love that. I have not done this in a long time. I also purchased a kit last night from the Nook, can't wait to get that too! I feel the mojo bubbling deep inside! Off to play with my new goodies.

Very Merry Christmas!

Well hello everyone, I hope you all had a very merry Christmas. We did! It was nice having all the kids in one room for Christmas morning. They were a little spoiled since Santa went a little overboard on his gifting. I haven't' been on this last week because my game room was under construction in preparation for Christmas. My darling husband replaced the sliding glass door (that didn't slide very well) with new, beautiful french doors. I love them! He also took out the carpet and put in wood. So much better. It all makes a wonderful place to congregate and play the new Wii or other games as a family!

I happened upon an up and coming online kit company called Art Freckles today. They have some dynamite kits that I would love to get my hands on. I participated in their weekly challenge. It was an ad challenge and I loved it. I created the "Deck the halls!" layout just for that. It worked so well with the ornament picture that I had just taken. I loaded up on Christmas clearance at Cracker Barrel.

Well, off to surf the net and scrapbook a little while the baby sleeps! Happy New Year to come!

Newest addition to our family!!

Wow, has it really been since Aug. since I posted? Well, I finally had our newest addition. Mary Ciera was born in Oct. Some complications that put her in ICU for 4 days but she is fine and dandy now. I have been taking it easy and enjoying my cuddle time with her for the last two months. Since this is our last baby, I really wanted to take it all in. I am back in the scrappy mode now and can't wait to get back on the boards. I miss chatting with everyone and feel like I have really missed out on so much with everyone. I am creating some layouts with my newest scrappy subject and can't wait to get them posted.
